
Sara Davin, PsyD, MPH
Sara Davin, Psy.D., MPH is the director of the Center for Pain Recovery within the Center for Spine Health, in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Davin leads a multidisciplinary team of chronic pain specialists and has a robust practice as a clinical psychologist specializing in pain. Dr. Davin also has a background in public health. Prior to obtaining her doctorate in clinical psychology, she worked as a public health professional developing program health prevention and promotion programs at IU Health in Indianapolis (formerly Clarian Health) and in the area of population health for two employee-based wellness companies. Dr. Davin has a passion for the intersection between pain psychology and public health. This passion has facilitated the development of pain-specific programs within the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Davin’s research interests center upon optimization within the perioperative period through the use of behavioral and psychological techniques, specifically in the area of spine surgery.
Dr. Davin also holds appointments as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Case Western Reserve School of Psychological Sciences and is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and supervises the pain psychology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
