What is Empowered Relief®?
Empowered Relief® is an evidence-based, single-session pain class that rapidly equips patients with pain management skills. Developed at Stanford University.
Is Empowered Relief® approved for continuing education?
Yes. Please review our continuing education information for further details.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. We are pleased to offer three need-based scholarships per workshop. Scholarships provide a 50% discount on the registration fee.

Registration and Payment Questions
Which payment methods can I use?
We use Eventbrite to process registrations. We support payment via credit card. In terms of credit cards, our payment provider supports Visa, Discover, MasterCard and American Express. If your company or organization wants to purchase a large number of spots for your employees, please contact us.
Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, registration fees are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my registration to a future workshop?
Requests to transfer registration to a future workshop will be considered with at least 30 days' notice only.
How do I purchase a copy of the instructor manual for acute/surgical pain, translated, or a replacement manual?
Empowered Relief® Certified Instructors can request any of the Empowered Relief® Instructor Manuals by completing the form linked below. Spiral-bound manuals are $20 with shipping and handling included. Once we verify your Empowered Relief® Instructor status, we will email you an invoice to complete the payment.
